Sofa

My product is a Kirkland Sofa. They manufacture sofas in their headquarter in Nashville,TN area. The manufacturers have good business practices. One reason is because they follow California’s Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010. What this means is that:
Kirkland’s is firmly committed to holding itself and its suppliers to the highest legal and ethical standards and Kirkland’s policies covering its suppliers demand that its suppliers do not engage in unethical business practices, including human trafficking and slavery. At this time, Kirkland’s does not have a formal verification program in place to ascertain compliance with such policies. Another reason is that they follow Kirkland’s Conflict Minerals Policy. What this means is that they do not purchase materials that come from areas in which the money will go to armed militia in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
