Bugatti Veyron
My product is the Bugatti Veyron it is owned by Volkswagen. The headquarters is in Wolfsburg, Germany. The company that manufactures Bugatti Veyron is Bugatti. The headquarters for Bugatti is in Molsheim, France. Recently Volkswagen has been caught cheating on emission tests. This means that when they were testing the cars Volkswagon put a chip in the car which made the car run better. This is bad because the car was releasing more carbon dioxide than what was being reported.
The distribution centers for this company are located in Roane County, TN, New Southeastern Regional Distribution Center. The retail stores for this company are located all around the world. Bugatti Veyron does not have a sustainability mission statement.
The main materials to make a Bugatti Veyron are metal, glass, leather and rubber. Rubber comes from elastic latexes. Glass comes from sand, soda ash, and/or limestone. Metal comes from mines. Leather comes from cows.
This material is not sustainable because the population of cows will need to grow but we only have a limited amount of land. These cars produce greenhouse gases, and when they need to be disposed they create smog from burning tires and requires land when they destroy the car.
